How To Setup a New Email Campaign An email campaign is simply prewritten emails that are sent at specified time intervals to take a lead in a progressive manner through your free premium content to sales offer.

The power of an email campaign opposed to an email promotion is building UP to your offer.

Think of it this way…

It’s your job to get your leads to a place of understanding that they know they NEED to buy the solution you are offering by the time you offer it.

  How To Setup a New Email Campaign Let me illustrate the real simplicity in setting up an email campaign.

A visitor opts-in for your free high value content, like a free video training series or a free e-report. Immediately upon entering their information they are sent through your email campaign.

A typical email campaign consists of four emails. The emails are setup a lil something like this…

 Email# 1:

1. Your first email is sent immediately after a person subscribes (opts-in). This email will contain the free content you promised.

Whether the free content is provided inside the email or a link to the content is provided you MUST include the content you promised and it better deliver the value you promised.

Email# 2:

2. Then, a second email is sent 2-3 days later with new high value content that builds on the material covered in the first. For instance, if you are giving away a free guide on “How to build a mobile app”, your 2nd email might explore the tools you will need to promote your new mobile app, or maybe how to get free beta testers for you new app.

Whatever the topic of your campaign make sure you stay focused and relevant so you keep your readers attention.

Email# 3:

3. A third email is sent 2-3 days after the second email with yet MORE pertinent and valuable information on the relevant topic. Remember, the objective of an email campaign and the content included in to add value AND build UP to your offer.

Email# 4:

4. A 4th email is sent 2-3 days after the 3rd. This email should continue to add VALUE, but it MUST end with a killer offer. There’s no point in an email campaign or list building period, if you aren’t presenting your list with offers.

So 4 emails, that’s it! Pretty simple, huh?

FYI: Email campaigns do NOT have to be 4 emails.

It’s not about the number of emails in your campaign that’s important, it’s the strategy behind the emails and the effectiveness of the campaign to achieve the desired result you were going for (i.e. sales, opt-ins, signups, etc).
